Inauguration of National CPOB Inspector

As a follow-up to the Results of the Coordination Meeting of the Center and UPT BPOM in February 2024, the Directorate of Drug Production Supervision & NPP conducted the Inauguration of the National CPOB Inspector within the BPOM Environment in Jakarta on Wednesday (17/07/2024). The National CPOB Inspector is a CPOB Inspector at the UPT BPOM who has been qualified as a Chief Inspector. The selection of the National CPOB Inspector is carried out through several evaluations and has met the assessment criteria, namely having been a Chief CPOB Inspector for more than 1 (one) year, an assessment of the quality of the CPOB inspection report and an assessment of performance by members of the inspection team from the Center.

And from the results of the assessment, confirmation was given to 7 (seven) National CPOB Inspectors, from the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the POM Agency which is part of the CPOB Inspectorate, namely:

1. Fitria Puspawati, S.Si., Apt., MSFarm (BBPOM in Bandung)
2. Mila Nur Mauludiawati, S.Si, Apt (BBPOM in Bandung)
3. Nurlaila, S.Si., Apt (BBPOM in Bandung)
4. Ima Diana Sari, S.Farm., Apt. (BBPOM in Semarang)
5. Devana Ardiaty, S.Farm, Apt (BBPOM in Serang)
6. Rhatih Eka Sasongko,. S.Sc., Apt, M.Farm (BBPOM in Serang)
7. Wahyuwasti Kiki M, S.Farm, Apt, M.Sc (BBPOM in Surabaya)

I also hope that every year there will be an additional National CPOB Inspector so that they can help supervise drug production facilities in UPTs that do not yet have a Chief CPOB Inspector or the number of Chief CPOB Inspectors is not sufficient."  said Acting Head of BPOM RI, L. Rizka Andalusia, when delivering his remarks at the inauguration. In addition, the Acting Head of BPOM RI also symbolically wore the CPOB Inspector vest and pinned a pin to each National CPOB Inspector. 

It was also mentioned that it was important to accelerate and increase the number of national CPOB inspectors in order to increase the scope of inspections. post market in production facilities. This acceleration and addition can answer the challenges of drug supervision which has limitations in terms of the availability of chief inspectors in several UPTs. After this inauguration, the National CPOB Inspector will be able to supervise drug production facilities in other areas outside catchment area The UPT where the inspector is on duty.
